Abstract Love 55

Surah 18:28. And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.

-Yeah that pretty much sums it up. I feel like this world is just an illusion for a time. Hard work that pays off and dosent pay off. Either way we are all here for a purpose. And the ultimate goal of that purpose is, I feel, not meant to be known by most of us humans. But besides, if we seen it it would not be as suspensful now would it. "With hardship comes ease". Relax...

Job Hunting

I have been job hunting for months now. I have not really had anything worth talking about happen to me. I am currently working at a call center "Infinity Marketing" and it is going okay, but I do strive for more. This is my second job in which I have to talk to customers in order to get them to accept something that I'm offering. Frankly, it has its ups and downs and I just want to have a steady paying job instead of this commission they give you here. I mean not complaining, just informing. I actually will be happy when I get to school today. Until then, peace.

Prophet Muhammad (peace mercy and blessings of Allah be upon him)

Muhammad (pbuh) was born in Mecca ( Makkah), Arabia, on Monday, 12 Rabi' Al-Awal (2 August A.D. 570). His mother, Aminah, was the daughter of Wahb Ibn Abdu Manaf of the Zahrah family. His father, 'Abdullah, was the son of Abdul Muttalib. His genealogy has been traced to the noble house of Ishmael, the son of Prophet Abraham in about the fortieth descend. Muhammad's father died before his birth.

Before he was six years old his mother died, and the doubly orphaned Muhammad was put under the charge of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib who took the most tender care of him. But the old chief died two years afterwards. On his deathbed he confided to his son Abu Talib the charge of the little orphan.

When Muhammad was twelve years old, he accompanied his uncle Abu Talib on a mercantile journey to Syria, and they proceeded as far as Busra. The journey lasted for some months. It was at Busra that the Christian monk Bahira met Muhammad. He is related to have said to Abu Talib: 'Return with this boy and guard him against the hatred of the Jews, for a great career awaits your nephew."

After this journey, the youth of Muhammad seems to have been passed uneventfully, but all authorities agree in ascribing to him such correctness of manners and purity of morals as were rare among the people of Mecca. The fair character and the honorable bearing of the unobtrusive youth won the approbation of the citizens of Mecca, and by common consent he received the title of "Al Ameen," The Faithful

First Day

Today is the first day of Ramadan and there is a huge cloud of orange yellow smoke floating above our city. I guess its been there for about six days now. It was kind of important to see a clear sky last night, but since I did research beforehand I actually knew Ramadan would start either today or yesterday. Congratulations to myself (pats self on back). So Today I have to do the Slideshow Presentation once more, but hey, what better day to do it then today? It was meant to be ya know.
