Abstract Love 55

Surah 18:28. And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.

-Yeah that pretty much sums it up. I feel like this world is just an illusion for a time. Hard work that pays off and dosent pay off. Either way we are all here for a purpose. And the ultimate goal of that purpose is, I feel, not meant to be known by most of us humans. But besides, if we seen it it would not be as suspensful now would it. "With hardship comes ease". Relax...

Job Hunting

I have been job hunting for months now. I have not really had anything worth talking about happen to me. I am currently working at a call center "Infinity Marketing" and it is going okay, but I do strive for more. This is my second job in which I have to talk to customers in order to get them to accept something that I'm offering. Frankly, it has its ups and downs and I just want to have a steady paying job instead of this commission they give you here. I mean not complaining, just informing. I actually will be happy when I get to school today. Until then, peace.

Prophet Muhammad (peace mercy and blessings of Allah be upon him)

Muhammad (pbuh) was born in Mecca ( Makkah), Arabia, on Monday, 12 Rabi' Al-Awal (2 August A.D. 570). His mother, Aminah, was the daughter of Wahb Ibn Abdu Manaf of the Zahrah family. His father, 'Abdullah, was the son of Abdul Muttalib. His genealogy has been traced to the noble house of Ishmael, the son of Prophet Abraham in about the fortieth descend. Muhammad's father died before his birth.

Before he was six years old his mother died, and the doubly orphaned Muhammad was put under the charge of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib who took the most tender care of him. But the old chief died two years afterwards. On his deathbed he confided to his son Abu Talib the charge of the little orphan.

When Muhammad was twelve years old, he accompanied his uncle Abu Talib on a mercantile journey to Syria, and they proceeded as far as Busra. The journey lasted for some months. It was at Busra that the Christian monk Bahira met Muhammad. He is related to have said to Abu Talib: 'Return with this boy and guard him against the hatred of the Jews, for a great career awaits your nephew."

After this journey, the youth of Muhammad seems to have been passed uneventfully, but all authorities agree in ascribing to him such correctness of manners and purity of morals as were rare among the people of Mecca. The fair character and the honorable bearing of the unobtrusive youth won the approbation of the citizens of Mecca, and by common consent he received the title of "Al Ameen," The Faithful

First Day

Today is the first day of Ramadan and there is a huge cloud of orange yellow smoke floating above our city. I guess its been there for about six days now. It was kind of important to see a clear sky last night, but since I did research beforehand I actually knew Ramadan would start either today or yesterday. Congratulations to myself (pats self on back). So Today I have to do the Slideshow Presentation once more, but hey, what better day to do it then today? It was meant to be ya know.

Ramadan

Ramadan is almost here. What a motivational feeling it is to know that I am getting closer to the Lord of the Worlds. I just love the fact that so many Muslims all around the world will be fasting the same exact way that I am. Billions of people will be able to feel the joy and sensation of this Holy Month. Ameen. I have been practicing my fasting since last year until this very day, so I believe I am prepared to fast this year a little more easily. When I fast I can look at things with much more wisdom and understanding. Indeed fasting is a shield. ALLAHU AKBAR!

Ramadan ppt

Today is my presentation day. I think I did okay but I have to do it over again. This is another great chance to let people know more about Ramadan. I see it as a educational experience more than anything. I believe everything has already been decreed so it could not have gone any other way than this way. So I will be happy to present again.

Harder Work

Back once again working as hard as I possibly can on every last project I encounter. It seems that the day is jampacked with less time for me and more time for school. Which is great. Another lesson learned. Welcome to the Real World and we're not talking a t.v. series herepeople. ButI I want to thank all the people who were at the computer lab that helped me throughout the process. You know who you are though. Peace.

Great Words

For some strange reason it seems like it has been a very long time since I have been on this site. I have been moving back and forth to and fro constantly and it is a great feeling when you see results. Even if the results do not match the effort that you put in. But my motivation is always here for me. "And it is He (God) who has made you successors (khala'ifa) upon the earth and has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank] that He may try you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful." (Qur'an 6:165)

Back again

Ok I guess I posted this blog yesterday but there was nothing on it. But that is not good because it must have been due like two days ago. But that is okay because I still tried to post it but there was just a slight mistake that I made. I hope Mr. Wu accepts it.

Good days.

Today once again it feels very good to be out the house and working on a better future for me and my future family. I had a pretty good week this week and next week I am looking forward to even more excellence. Something funny did happen though and that was that I get paid comission and my check was only 15 dollars. But I actually like to work hard for good results. I hope everybody is doing good. Peace!

Managing work and class at the same time leaves me with so little time to do anything. Long days and short nights. Hopefully this pays off in the end in sha Allah Ta'ala. I guess it's all apart of growing up and experiencing new things. I am happy either way it goes.

To me it feels good after making an accomplishment to look back on it and see how far I came. But that's what life is about. I just need to stay motivated and one day I will be successful.

Today class was long but I really liked it though because I worked hard. You know they say hard work pays off so I am willing to continue on our eight-week journey.
